Cindy Dellinger, Broker/Owner

|
Mt. Jackson, VA, a town rich with history and intrigue, can be found quietly resting among some of our country's most prized landscapes. It is in this small town that Cynthia Dellinger has found a life-long home and also where you will find United Country-Shenandoah Valley Realty. Although real estate has become a fulfilling passion for Cindy, it was not her first career path. From 1980-1987, Cindy could be found working in the Broadcast field as a television and radio news anchor. She became a licensed realtor in 1987 and opened her own company in 1991. In 1994, Cindy became a member of the United Country family. The company has ranked in the top 10 offices in the nation as well as consistently performing in the top 10% nationwide. Since her affiliation with United Country, the company has seen continued success. Cindy gives much of the credit for her success to the undeniable beauty and appeal of the Mt. Jackson area. "The most rewarding thing about my job is that I get the opportunity to work with so many different types of people and to share our community. I love where I live and I can't imagine living anywhere else. I want to share my community with others because I know that they will come to love it as much as I do." Cindy is very active in the community as well. She is currently serving on the Board of Directors for Habitat for Humanity, the Board of Directors for the Mt. Jackson Chamber of Commerce and she has also served as a former member and chairman of the Shenandoah County Board of Supervisors. Cindy is also the Past President of the Massanutten Association of Realtors. She serves on the Advisory Board for one of the local banks and she is also currently serving on the Risk Management Advisory Group for the Virginia Association of Realtors. Cindy is very active in her church and is currently serving as a Trustee and Past Chairman and member of the Church Council. Cindy is a Licensed Broker, holds a GRI certification and is a Certified Real Estate Consultant (CCRC). She has completed coursework for Accredited Buyer Representative status (ABR). Cindy is married and lives on her husband's family farm, which dates back to the 1700's. They have one son and two grandchildren who also call the farm home.

Sandy has been in the real estate business for 8 years. She owned her own company right here in the Shenandoah Valley. She has been a broker for 3 years. Sandy has lived in the Shenandoah Valley her whole life and loves it! Sandy and her husband, Mark, live in Fort Valley. They have 2 sons, a beautiful granddaughter and 2 grandsons. Kim has been working as the Office Manager here at United Country Shenandoah Valley Realty since December 2006. Kim has her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Mary Baldwin College in Staunton, VA. She has lived in the Shenandoah Valley her entire life. Kim hopes to continue to learn as much as possible about the field of real estate. She lives right here in Mt. Jackson with her husband Bucky, their daughter Micah and their 2 pugs--Oscar and Pepper.

Larry Turner, Sales Associate

Larry was born and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia and has lived here his whole life. He graduated from Virginia Tech in 1974 and upon graduating, he worked in the private poultry industry until 1982. Larry then went into business for himself for 20 years. In 2001, he switched his focus to real estate and helping people with their real estate needs. Larry is in the business of making people's dreams come true and helping people. Larry is an active church member and also has participated in church activities his whole life. He is married to his lovely wife, Sandy and they have 2 daughters, Jill and Sara plus 1 granddaughter & 2 grandsons.

Dan Duffy - , Chief Executive Officer

Dan Duffy joined United Country as part of a successful effort in February 2006 to secure growth capital to support the rapid growth of the United Country system. He serves as the Company’s Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Directors. In his role as CEO, Dan is principally responsible for the establishment and execution of a long-term strategy for United Country designed to deliver competitive advantage to United Country franchisee partners as they operate in their local markets and serve their clients.
Prior to joining United Country, Dan spent nearly 20 years focused on serving clients in a number of senior executive positions. Most recently Dan served as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Microsoft’s “2005 Global Partner of the Year” and largest North American Microsoft Business Solutions partner with over 20 offices serving 12,000 clients across the United States and the U.K.
Prior to his tenure in the technology services market space, Dan served as the Chief Development and Financial Officer of an online business-to-business exchange serving the auction and brokerage market for industrial equipment and was a founding member of the Chicago practice of The Center for Strategic Transactions, a division of Ernst & Young L.L.P., providing strategic and corporate finance advisory services to Fortune 100
companies as well as high growth technology, product and services organizations across multiple industries.

Mike Duffy - , President / United Country Real Estate
|
|
Mike Duffy is focused on bringing new, added value services, sales and marketing
programs to United Country franchisees. With a 20-year background in marketing and
sales, helping to build such national brands as Coca-Cola, Winston Cup NASCAR, RJ
Reynolds, Minute Maid, Community Coffee, and numerous other well-known brands,
Mike is bringing this experience to build recognition and understanding of the
United Country Real Estate brand with real estate buyers and sellers.
Most recently, Mike served as Vice President of Community Coffee and prior to that as a Vice President of Marketing for Coca-Cola. In addition to branding initiatives, Mike has expertise in sales, building strategic partnerships and launching new programs.
Building on a track record of innovative marketing and sales techniques, Mike has extensive experience positioning numerous brands with unique services and tools to drive differentiation and competitive advantage. Ultimately, helping United Country franchisees gain more listings, find more buyers and earn higher commissions is the objective of Mike’s efforts.
Mike received his MBA in Marketing and Finance from Indiana University, his undergraduate degree in Marketing from LSU and has attended numerous management and marketing post graduate programs. Mike has taught Brand Positioning, Brand Marketing and Advertising classes as a visiting speaker at LSU.

David Dickey - , Chief Operating Officer

|
Most recently, David Dickey was Sr. Vice President Professional Services for ePartners, the Microsoft 2005 Partner of the Year specializing in delivering, integrating and customizing solutions tailored specifically for each client’s business needs. The group has a concentration in Microsoft .Net programming, Portal development services, systems integration, and a focus on ePartners’ core ERP and CRM product offerings.
Prior to joining ePartners, David was Director of Worldwide Professional Services at Pervasive Software where he led the services group in both North America and Europe. The group focused on solving complex database problems and had a specific practice in replication and disaster recovery solutions.
David has spent a number of years in the enterprise software space where he developed mission critical software for a wide range of businesses working with clients such as Saks Fifth Avenue, Office Depot and Burlington Northern.
David received his B.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Texas Tech University, continuing education from Kellogg School of Management and is a graduate of the Stagen Leadership Institute.

Kevin Oldham brings over 14 years of marketing and advertising expertise to the United Country team. Prior to joining United Country, Kevin launched a marketing firm that catered exclusively to real estate developers, offering strategic solutions designed to generate traffic for their projects. Prior to this entrepreneurial venture, Kevin offered marketing services for Kansas City’s largest residential real estate broker and for an international movie theatre circuit. Kevin earned his M.B.A. from Baker University in 2007.

Pat Patton has joined our office as a successful real estate agent with 23 years of experience in California & Kentucky. Pat specialized in residential real estate & foreclosure properties while working in Corona, California. Pat lives in Mt. Jackson with her husband John & their cat.
